If you are used to the weather in the UK, then you will be very familiar with the concept of cold weather, which Florida is NOT!
Book ahead of time
You will be surprised to see just how much money you will end up saving if you take the time to do some research and book online in advance. There are many specials and discounts available for many places and rides, if you book online. Many of the offers are available exclusively to people from the UK. It really does pay to be prepared in advance.
Remember Insurance
Travel insurance is vital – what if your cases don’t arrive, you drop and smash your expensive camera or you lose your passport or have your purse stolen with all your holiday spending money in? Make a plan
Even if you buy a VIP pass, you will almost always not get to see all the things that you want to see. It makes sense to plan for the ‘must-see’ activities so that you do not get caught up in one thing and miss out on the rest. There is so much to see and do here in Florida that it is very possible to get sidetracked and completely forget what the plan was to start off with. Make notes of what the main things are that you and your family want to see and do, and try to do them at the beginning or end of the day. This way, you will avoid the masses of people.
Cutting queues
You really do not want to spend half your time standing in queues waiting for your turn on rides. One way to get to the front quickly is to buy a VIP pass. It will cost you around $250 per person, but it will be worth it, because you will get to see much more in the time that you have in the park than you would have if you had a regular ticket.
SeaWorld and food
If you do happen to go to SeaWorld and eat there, be very carefull what you eat. People who are allergic to fish or seafood should stick to cake and coffee, and avoid the obvious dishes, but some of the salads may make your tummy feel terrible as well. The food is good, but you need to check what ingredients have been used before you order. Rather be safe than sorry!
